Muaaz Abdul Hadi, a researcher from Area 4.2 – Cognitive Production Systems took part in the 4th EAI International Conference on Management of Manufacturing Systems Conference (MMS 2019). The conference was on October 8-10 and held at Krynica, Poland. He had submitted a scientific paper “Adaptive Assembly Approach for E-Axles”. Moreover, a presentation at the conference was also made regarding the scientific paper. This conference was collocated with MobilityIoT 2019 conference. In total, there were over 50 scientific papers being published along with poster sessions. The paper presented by Muaaz Abdul Hadi won the “Best Paper Award” at the conference. He received the award from the conference chairs (below image). The authors of the paper are Muaaz Abdul Hadi, Markus Brillinger, and Franz Haas.
Muaaz Abdul Hadi, a researcher from Area 4.2 – Cognitive Production Systems summarized his research outcome in his master’s thesis “Adaptive Assembly Concepts for Low Volume Production Based on Two Case Studies.” He has successfully defended his thesis on October 15th receiving an excellent (1) grade. Further work in this project “Adaptive Smart Production” is already in progress and is expected to publish further results in the upcoming year.
