On September 3, 2025, the third meeting of Pro²Future’s International Scientific Advisory Board (ISAB) took place at our headquarter in Linz. We were delighted to welcome several members of this internationally renowned committee in person, while others joined online.
To open the session, our Scientific Director Prof. Alois Ferscha reflected on eight years of Pro²Future and presented the research program for the next four years after the re-approval of the COMET K1 Centre.
Subsequently, the Area Managers and Area Leaders shared insights into the future research vision of their respective fields, areas and institutes. More information is available here. Link
The meeting concluded with the ISAB’s recommendations, which provided valuable guidance for the center’s further development. A joint dinner afterwards offered additional space for inspiring conversations and further scientific networking.
Overall, the day was characterized by engaging discussions, valuable insights and inputs and important recommendations for the upcoming years.
