How are modern security technologies developed, and how can security be rethought in an increasingly interconnected world?
These questions were at the core of the visit of Brigadier Mag. Dieter Muhr, Military Commander of Upper Austria, to our site in Linz within the framework of the UAR Innovation Network.
In view of the growing interconnection of critical infrastructure, industrial production and digitalization, the development of holistic and technologically robust security solutions is becoming increasingly important. The visit provided an opportunity for an in-depth exchange between the military, research and industry on current challenges and future approaches in the field of security technologies.
Insights into applied research for security-critical applications
During the visit, Brigadier Muhr gained insights into ongoing research activities carried out jointly with industry partners in the field of next-generation security technologies. In particular, we were pleased to present our expertise in artificial intelligence, cognification and analytics.
The visit highlighted the strategic importance of Linz as a hub for applied security research and underlined the added value of close collaboration between research, industry and public institutions.
