Lange Nacht der Forschung 2026: Experience Pro²Future

On April 24, 2026, Pro²Future will be part of the Lange Nacht der Forschung, showcasing how the future of production is becoming reality. From 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, visitors are invited to explore interactive demonstrations at the ground floor of Science Park 3, Johannes Kepler University Linz, with free admission.

Two stations, one glimpse into the industry of tomorrow

Pro²Future presents research in artificial intelligence, robotics and industrial digitalisation:

How do autonomous AI systems safely collaborate with humans in production?
Experience how sensor systems, actuation and AI seamlessly interact to enable safe and efficient human–machine collaboration in industrial environments.

My buddy, the robot: How are machines made fit for humans?
Discover how robots are adapted to human needs using machine learning and advanced sensing technologies – enabling intuitive, safe and efficient interaction.

Research you can experience

The demonstrators provide practical insights into how cognitive technologies improve production processes while keeping humans at the centre. Our experts will be on site to answer questions and engage in discussions.

Arrival

We recommend using public transport, not only because of the limited number of parking spaces, but also for the environment. Once again this year, there will be a shuttle bus service running every 30 minutes. The drop-off point is located near the exhibition venue. Bus stops and timetables will be published shortly.
