BH TechConnect Graz 2025: Bridging Borders through Technology and Leadership

On May 17, 2025, our Area Manager, Dr. Amer Kajmaković, played a significant role in organizing an event that brought together a vibrant mix of minds, industries and cultures. Uniting people of Bosnian origin from across this part of Europe with those from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The result? A powerful convergence of innovation, digitalization, sustainability, and collaboration.

Organized by DUIT – Verein zur Förderung der Industrie und Technologie, the event was more than just a conference. It served as a platform for progress, where cutting-edge technology, AI research, innovation and smart manufacturing met the energy and ambition of young professionals and students.

In addition to his organizational contributions, Amer Kajmaković also moderated a panel discussion titled:
“Student and Professional Networks as the Foundation for Future Collaboration and the Development of Competent Young Leaders.”
The discussion explored how education, industry and community can come together to shape the leaders of tomorrow. It emphasized the importance of knowledge exchangejoint projects and long-term cooperation between Austria and Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially through the lens of the diaspora.

The event was honored by the presence of mayors from Bosniabusiness ownersinnovation leaders and students from the DUIT Mentorship Network. Their participation highlighted the significance of cross-border collaboration and the vital role of mentorship in nurturing future talent.
