Linz, June 2026. On June 11, 2026, the Ursulinenhof in Linz brought together around 500 people from IT, technology, research, and innovation. The Female Tech Summit – Austria’s leading platform for women in IT and tech – offered two days of keynotes, panels, expert talks, and networking for participants at every stage of their careers, from students finding their first orientation to seasoned professionals sharing what they have learned. Pro²Future was there.
Together with five other centers from the UAR Innovation Network – Linz Center of Mechatronics, Silicon Austria Labs, Competence Center CHASE, RISC Software, and K1-MET – Pro²Future was present on site, offering insights into applied research as a real and rewarding career path.
The highlight for Pro²Future was the UAR Innovation Network panel “Women in Applied Research – Role Models, Innovation & Future Talent.” Our researcher Amel Jelidi joined Gerda Klammer (LCM), Tina Mitteramskogler (SAL), and Rebeka Früholz (K1-MET) on stage for a conversation about visibility, role models, and how to inspire the next generation of talent in science and technology.
