“Industry and science bring their know-how, their implementation skills and their talents to jointly shape the future of production”, DI Gerd Hribernig, the new CEO since June, describes the Pro2Future GmbH mission.
Gerd Hribernig worked in industry for almost 30 years after studying electrical engineering at Graz University of Technology. Different positions in the area of R&D, international management and management at Siemens AG, EFKON AG and Intellic GmbH made it possible to work with universities and research institutes again and again.
For example, between 1999 and 2001 he was chairman of the steering committee of the Austrian K + research / competence center “Advanced Computer Vision”, or as head of the Siemens Biometrics Center in Graz / Vienna / Munich with the technical universities in research projects.
As a lecturer for innovation and technology management at the FH Campus02 in Graz, he dealt with the theory of the successful economic exploitation of new technologies and analyzed many successful innovations together with part-time students from industry.
From 01.09.2020 Gerd Hribernig will take over the sole management, Univ.-Prof. Dr. Alois Ferscha will continue to contribute his expertise as scientific director in Pro²Future.
The management of Pro2Future GmbH will continue to build and expand the center according to the center plan and implement interesting and promising projects and research projects with you.
