Research paper presentation at EuroVis 2025!

We’re excited to share that our research was presented this week at EuroVis 2025, one of the leading international conferences in the field of visualization, which took place last week in Luxembourg.

Professor Tobias Schreck (TU Graz) presented the research paper “Visual Exploration and Analysis of Simulation and Testing Data in Motor Engineering”.

The paper can be read and downloaded at the following link: https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/10508047

The paper, lead authored by Patrick Louis (Pro²Future) and written in collaboration with TU Graz, Linz Center of Mechatronics and Fraunhofer IGD, addresses a key challenge in automated defect detection for electric motors: the lack of real-world failure data. The research article introduces a visual analysis tool that enables experts to explore both simulated and measured time series data, helping identify domain-invariant features and assess the reliability of simulated data.

Thanks to the entire research team for this contribution!
