On February 4, 2026, Pro²Future GmbH demonstrated at Zukunft.Produktion 2026 how Physical AI is sustainably transforming industrial production systems.
In his keynote “COMPANIONS – How Physical AI Will Transform Industry” Area Manager of the Area Perception, Michael Haslgrübler, introduced learning, physically embedded AI systems designed to operate directly within real production environments. The focus was on the strategic integration of AI algorithms into machines, sensors and industrial infrastructures. Physical AI enables new forms of interaction, adaptability and resilience in complex manufacturing systems. COMPANIONS represents intelligent systems that go beyond data analytics. They actively cooperate with operators and equipment, interpret processes in real time and make decision logics transparent and explainable.
In the breakout session “Industrial AI – From Use Case to Implementation”, together with Belgin Mutlu (Area Manager, Area Analytics) and Bernhard Anzengruber-Tánase (Senior Researcher, Area Perception), the discussion focused on how to move from pilot projects to robust and scalable industrial integration.
