Wels, April 2026. From April 21 to 24, 2026, MUST Visibility, a spin-off of Pro2Future GmbH, participated in Intertool in Wels. One of the leading fairs for industrial manufacturing in the German-speaking region. Over four days, the team presented their technology to an expert audience and held in-depth conversations with representatives from the manufacturing industry.
Bringing machining visibility to the shop floor
The central focus of the appearance was the challenge that lies at the heart of MUST Visibility’s work: enabling manufacturers to gain meaningful, real-time insight into their machining process. Rather than presenting concepts, the team demonstrated their solution under real conditions — live on a DMG MORI DMU 40 machine tool directly at the booth.
The response from visitors was consistently positive. Discussions with specialists and decision-makers from the manufacturing sector revealed a strong and growing demand for data-driven process transparency and opened the door to a number of promising follow-up conversations.
Rooted in applied research
MUST Visibility emerged from research conducted at Pro2Future GmbH, a competence center dedicated to making Cognitive Production Systems a reality. Philipp Eisele, PhD, Area Manager Cognitive Production Systems at Pro²Future, was present at the booth, representing the close ties that continue to connect the two organizations.
The spin-off is a tangible example of what applied research can achieve: translating high-level scientific work into solutions that deliver measurable impact directly on the shop floor.
